Adobe eLearning Suite v Articulate Studio 09
I would be very pleased if someone could direct me to some independent comparison of Articulate Studio and Adobe eLearning Suite in terms of
• ease of development of e-learning material
• quality/user engagement and interactive possibilities of output (with same author capabilities)
I value the direct and indirect support of Articulate, particularly after an experience with Adobe - but that experience alone, means I cannot be objective on this issue and my client is seeking this comparison.

Liked the way Green GT is
Liked the way Green GT is working for the future electric cars, but are they more environment friendly? With the depletion in non renewable resources in next coming 15-20 years, can we have this as an option to run on renewable energy... Also, how safe are these to drive on roads in US. Does this involve any safety driving rules for the drivers and help them drive defensively. adventure games
Buying a replica will provide
Buying a replica will provide a number of benefits. The cost of almost all Fake Watches is only a fraction of the luxury high-end version, even though many of these watches are impossible to tell apart from the authentic models. One may spend 200-300 dollars for a high quality Fake Rolex Watches , in comparison to spending twenty to thirty thousand on an original Swiss-designed model. In addition, your Longines Watches UK will have the same look and feel of a real watch, and you will have thousands of dollars in savings. This situation is ideal in the event that you need an impressive and stylish luxury timepiece from a world-class brand name, but are not in a position to afford to buy one.
hi For those of you who have
hi
For those of you who have purchased Articulate Studio - did you purchase from the website or did you buy through one of the partners/suppliers/
Hi Susan Kineo helped us
Hi Susan
Kineo helped us purchase our licence and gave us our access codes. I'm sure you could just as easily purchase direct. We did have one time delay in raising the invoice to Kineo, whereas you may be able to pay direct via Company credit card.
Website download and
Website download and purchase of Articulate, was what I used. (I admidt I never thought of looking if another option was cheaper.)
Hi Liz, I think if you are
Hi Liz,
I think if you are looking for a solution with less complexities and rapid development with satisfactory output then Articulate Presenter + Raptivity could be a solution for you. If you are particularly looking at IT training (Software tutorial) elearning content then of course choice is simple - Captivate+ Raptivity. I would say Articulate would be easy to use and Raptivity would bring in the interactivity without flash programing. In both the case I would not go for single company, as they have a strength in their one particular area. So I would chose what is that I am comfortable with and what do I want to compromise on! If you want to compromise on time then complex and detail solution is for you otherwise simple and rapid solution would be your take. In both the cases Raptivity can cut down your time and efforts on flash programing.

Yogesh
Thanks Adam for your input.
Thanks Adam for your input. I was reassured to know that a user of the Adobe eLearning Suite concluded that the Articulate products are the answer for the "quick start" and "rapid development".
The possibility of using just the Captivate tool from the Adobe Suite also occurred to me – particularly when I discovered Articulate Engage items can be imported into it. Version 4 seems much improved; although more with features to make developers’ lives easier than possibilities to improve learners' experience using the output. I have always thought it the best for Systems Training but am still holding back from recommending it to my client as a tool for developing other learning material.
To evaluate the full Adobe Suite, I think I would have to become a Flash programmer. (Clive Shepherd’s evaluation got me out of the need to do this! - http://clive-shepherd.blogspot.com/2009/05/adobe-elearning-suite-is-it-w... )
Articulate has provided me
Articulate has provided me some help on this (via Twitter) which I thought worth sharing.
-- you might find these reviews helpful:

-- 2 http://bit.ly/3a2O1O
The first is the review of Articulate Studio 09 by Kineo. Unfortunately Kineo has no overall review of Adobe eLearning Suite. Kineo’s review of Captivate 4 is very clear that they recommend it for systems training only, which is why I am trying to compare Articulate 09 with Adobe’s whole suite.
The second is a review of Articulate Engage by Pinched Head (and I promptly added their blog to my feed!)
Articulate also pointed out it’s free trial download is a good way to evaluate Studio’s usability. I agree, and would add that with all the tips the Articulate team post and now all their demonstrations using screenr e.g.
http://screenr.com/mz7
http://screenr.com/RJ7
Articulate helps users of all rapid e-learning products to develop more engaging learning materials.
They also provided me with a good example of the support they provide, even on a casual basis. Articulate responded to my Tweet (similar to the request above) while I slept. But Adobe is still sleeping – presumably no-one in Adobe monitors Tweets that refer to them.
Of course I could take Articulate’s advice and apply it to Adobe’s free trial download, to find out how their products have really improved since 2007, when I last used it. It might come to that but I will welcome
• any links to independent comparative reviews of Articulate Studio 09 and Adobe eLearning Suite
• comments on anyone’s experience of using Adobe’s latest eLearning Suite.
(before I get accused by my client and/or eLN of being biased towards Articulate!)
Hi Liz, I haven't used
Hi Liz,
I haven't used Articulate that much but I do use Adobe elearning suite. I would say articulate you would would be able to get up and running much much quicker but Adobe would allow you to never stop learning as it were and creating new ideas.
If you are in the 'Rapid' market and want to get going straight away I would say Articulate. You could create something quite quickly in Captivate but the other tools of the Adobe suite are more complex.
Hope this helps and I'm sure other will have more opinions.
