Learning Technology Preferences survey

I'm trying to pull together a survey to ask our end users what learning technologies they are interested in, to determine what learning technolgoies we should concentrate on. For example, everyone is talking about wikis at a certain level within the business, but would the end user actually contribute or read one? I don't want to offer mobile learning if they don't have mobiles or don't like it.

Has anyone tried to complete something similar within their organisation? I'm aware that it might be a bit of a chiecken and egg and they may not know what these things are to be able to comment on whether they might find them useful. I think focus groups later will help, but want to try and get some kind of survey research to begin with.
I'm not interested in Honey and Mumford type learning styles, though there might be something in trying to idenitfy Gardner's multiple intelligence types and linking these through to learning technology.
