In 2008, we are introducing a new completely free associate membership scheme. If you're interested in elearning, whether you're a learning and development specialist, designer, developer, supplier, consultant, tutor, student or academic, we encourage you to register for associate membership using the Upgrade facility you'll find on every page of this site.

Why are we offering this new level of membership? Well, the eLN is essentially a community of practice, in which members get to share experiences and support each other in their efforts to make successful use of elearning within their organisations. We believe this network will benefit by enfranchising all members of the elearning community, at whatever level and whatever the field of interest.

Associate members will benefit from: social networking through this website, providing extensive opportunities for collaboration, discussion, problem-solving and support; regular elearning news; a treasure chest of online resources, including white papers, links, podcasts and videos; the chance to participate in polls and surveys.

Of course we'd like many of our associates to upgrade in due course to full membership, particularly when they discover the full range of services that the eLN has to offer, but there's no pressure and we're just pleased to have our associates on board.
