Roundtable meeting July 15

It's easy to learn from articles and at conferences about the successes that organisations have achieved with elearning, but how often do you get to hear about the obstacles, the frustrations and the difficult choices that have to be made? As a sector we don't often get the opportunity to share experiences and give advice on the best way forward when we're just starting out or when difficulties arise.

As part of a new series of events, the eLN is hosting a series of roundtable meetings exclusively for organisations that use elearning. The first of these will be held on July 15th at Waterside, British Airway's fantastic headquarters building near Heathrow airport. The meeting will consist of an open discussion with three main themes:

  • How to launch elearning - what are the major pitfalls to avoid?
  • Getting buy in - how do we change innovation into tradition?
  • How do we report value for money?

The roundtable events are purely for end user organisations, and will be held in complete confidence. The facilitators of the first meeting will be Joe Quilter, chair of judges for the E-Learning Awards and principal consultant at PSP Group, and Wendy Stubbs, eLN committee member and Learning Innovations Consultant at British Airways.

We are limiting spaces to 15, so you will need to make your booking quickly. Note that, should we have an excess demand for places, full members will have priority. The event is free, although we reserve the right to make a charge of £250 for anyone booking but not then attending.

To make your booking, complete the online registration form. For further information contact Pat Straughan on 01732 850650 or email her at admin@elearningnetwork.org.
