Using professional voice talent

I'm a professional narrator with a long history in corporate and industry, coupled with a love for sharing knowledge and a knack for explaining things, who is trying to learn more about the needs of eLearning solution providers. If you're able, I'd welcome any insight, comments or suggestions, even beyond my specific questions below.

What usually determines whether a project will warrant the use of a professional voice talent?

Whether your project requires a single narrator and/or multiple characters, what qualities do you seek when auditioning voice talent?

By what means (email, phone, etc.) do you prefer prospective voice talent to contact you?

Thanks!

Buying a replica will provide

Buying a replica will provide a number of benefits. The cost of almost all Fake Watches is only a fraction of the luxury high-end version, even though many of these watches are impossible to tell apart from the authentic models. One may spend 200-300 dollars for a high quality Fake Rolex Watches , in comparison to spending twenty to thirty thousand on an original Swiss-designed model. In addition, your Longines Watches UK will have the same look and feel of a real watch, and you will have thousands of dollars in savings. This situation is ideal in the event that you need an impressive and stylish luxury timepiece from a world-class brand name, but are not in a position to afford to buy one.

Hi,

I've just joined the eLearning Network.

I've been a full-time voiceover since 1999 (good grief!), and Mike asked an interesting question:

'By what means (email, phone, etc.) do you prefer prospective voice talent to contact you?'

I always worry about interrupting with a phone call, but at times there's the feeling an email may be seen as spam.

Best wishes from East Yorkshire,

I'd say the vast majority of projects that use audio should use a professional voiceover. I say that because poor quality narration notices horribly and because professional narration isn't that expensive relative to the overall project costs.

I look for a voice that sounds relatively natural and relaxed. I have sometimes gone for a slight regional accent.

Thanks, Clive. I appreciate
