Bubbly, vivacious, out-going and more popular than ever – this year sees the eLN turn 25 years old. To celebrate this momentous occasion we will hold an event showcasing the very best that elearning has to offer, with ample opportunities for learning, discussion and networking. The day will include guest speakers sharing their thoughts on elearning past, present and future, pecha kucha presentations on the most innovative learning technologies and yes, a little bit of a celebration :) If you're a member, this event is just £125 to attend. If you're not a member, then why not take out at least a level one membership at £75 and make it back on your first event?!

2.05pm – eLearning: The last 25 years in review

2.40pm – eLearning: The future. What's next?
Tincan API? Gamification? Experiential learning? What's next in elearning? This session will spend some time looking at the very latest in innovation and technology that the industry has to offer and what the future has in store.
3.30pm – Coffee break
3.45pm – Kutamba!
We seem to be collecting foreign terms like pecha kucha at eLN, and our birthday bash is no exception. Kutamba means to dance or to play in Zimbabwe. And we’re going to be joined by some leading African performing artists to show us all how to really make some noise in a hands-on drumming workshop.
3.45pm - Interactive session
If you don't fancy drumming, take the opportunity to see some great elearning solutions in action and have a play with the latest tools and technologies. The aim of this area is to have some interactive fun!
4.15pm - Towards Maturity Benchmark
Having explored where learning has been in the past 25 years and where it's going, Laura Overton will be revealing exactly where it is now with an early look at the results of the 2012 Towards Maturity Benchmark research.
4.45pm – Keynote session
Stephen Heppell, the man once called ‘Europe’s leading online education expert’ will be joining us to explore the future of learning technologies.
5.30pm – 2012 Pecha Kucha grand final
These short, sharp and fun presentations of 20 slides with just 20 seconds speaking time on each, have become synonymous with our events. This session sees our annual grand final of the previous winners throughout the year.
5.45pm - 7pm - Open sponsor showcase, champagne and cake!
Our events are always a great opportunity to meet fellow learning professionals and network in a relaxed environment. And on this occasion there'll be champagne and birthday cake to help proceedings go off with a bang!
