Blended solution

A learning intervention that mixes a number of different learning media, such as face-to-face learning, online media, offline media (books, CDs, etc.) or the telephone. Alternatively, a solution that mixes learning contexts, i.e. self-study, one-to-one learning, group learning. The concept of blended learning has become more widely recognised in the past five years, primarily as a way of combining face-to-face learning with elearning. However, there is no reason why elearning needs to be a component in a blended solution, any more than any other medium.

Exploring blended solutions
Online media are accessed using a computer network, whereas [[offline media]] do not require a network connection.
Blended solutions often mix asynchronous communication, which is self-paced, with synchronous communication, which is real-time.
